Career
I bring over 10 years of experience as a Psychologist, having worked across community mental health, education settings, private practice, and the not-for-profit sector. I’m a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Board-Approved Supervisor, offering clinical supervision to early career and experienced psychologists.
Clients
I offer services to clients privately, as well as through GP-supported Medicare referrals, private funding, and NDIS plans that are either self-managed or plan-managed (please note I do not accept referrals directly through the NDIA).
Me
When I’m not in session, most of my time is spent with my daughter and family. Outside of that, you’ll often find me wandering through the forest, sharing quiet moments with horses, or curled up by the fire with a good book and a cup of tea. I’m drawn to the slow, grounding rituals of nature—gardening, crafting, and creating a warm, welcoming home. These moments keep me connected to what matters most: presence, simplicity, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.
That same sense of presence underpins my clinical work. I weave evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT) with creative, nature-based, and equine-assisted approaches, tailoring each session to your unique needs. Whether we meet in a traditional consulting room, under the spreading boughs of an oak, or alongside a gentle herd of horses, you can expect a therapeutic space that is grounding, compassionate, and firmly rooted in best-practice psychology.
Working together means more than problem-solving; it’s an invitation to rediscover steadiness and joy in your nervous system, to cultivate resilience, and to align your life with what truly matters to you. My clients tell me they value the balance of scientific rigour and heartfelt connection—an approach that honours both the mind and the body, the rational and the experiential.
If this resonates, I’d love to meet you. Reach out today to book an introductory call or send an enquiry through the contact form, and let’s explore how we can partner in creating the change you’re ready for.
Session Pricing & Info
Fees and Rebates
Session fees vary slightly depending on the location and nature of the service. I currently offer appointments at Outlook Ecotherapy in Terrigal, Nicole Ryder Psychology in Galston, and at Eatsense in Erina. Each clinic sets its own fee structure based on the type of intervention and session requirements. Please get in touch with the relevant practice directly to explore current pricing.
As a general guide, fees typically range from $232.99 to $280 per session. My private practice rate is set at a lower fee than the current APS National Schedule of Suggested Fees, which recommends $311 for a standard consultation.
Medicare Rebates
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you may be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate for sessions at all clinics. To access Medicare rebates, you’ll need a referral from your GP or, in some cases, a psychiatrist, paediatrician, or consultant physician. Please speak with your referring provider before your first session to confirm your eligibility.
Equine-Assisted Therapy Fees
Fees for equine-assisted sessions are set by the clinic and depend on the location. These sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration and may attract a Medicare rebate if referred under a Mental Health Care Plan, just as they would for a session with a registered psychologist. If you would like to arrange a longer session, please contact in advance to discuss options.
